Why we're where we are.

Rise of the Viceroys is the first of many games that all take place in the same gaming universe, it is just the top of the proverbial iceberg. Every game after this one will expand the horizon while the intricacies, history and lore will unfold before you. Our end goal is to create an unprecedented interconnectedness between all of our games. The assets and data structures we are building now are embodying this decision. Star Systems and structures you see in this game will eventually be presented in more detail and with finer nuance in a future 4X or a more traditional RTS game. Then you may end up running mission as a secret agent through one of these buildings or space ships, in a first or third person shooter. The hero in a RPG Rogue may be an officer in a future update to ROV.
We are going to surpass the genre hybrids as far as we can, while nurturing a flower of simulation that will be just as fun to watch as it will to play.
All we need are a few good players.
